LESSONS TO BE LEARNED

Sometimes we are hurt by those who seem to go out of their way to do just that...hurt us. Mean things are said, lies are told, friendships are lost and you begin to wonder if something is wrong with you. You may even find yourself thinking that it must be true if they no longer like me. Well it isn't true. Never was. Its about the person who is sending out all these negative messages. These kinds of people are very unhappy....in fact down right miserable. If you believe what they say about you, then you've just caught their negativity and you can find yourself just as miserable as they are. Don't buy into it. What's that old saying?....."Misery likes company!" If you're a good happy person....remain so. Let the miserable be miserable by themselves because eventually that's just where there heading....to be by themselves. Embrace the day. Don't let anybody steal your bliss!

You might be surprised at what you see!

The person standing next to you at this moment could be the person of your dreams. The woman that you sit next to in the doctor’s office could me your new boss. Your son who is making too much noise and you ask him to be quiet because you're watching television could just need a hug. Most of the time we don't even notice the person standing behind us at the check out counter. Yet they're so close to us that we could touch them. Most of us will never even know the opportunities that we missed because we never took the time to turn around?

Do you wave and smile at your neighbor in the morning before getting in your car or do you turn your head the other way? Do you listen to your wife when she wants to share her day with or do you tune her out and never hear a word she says?

How many people in your life need you to “Turn around and look at them?”

Before you know it everyone is gone and one day when you do finally turn around, they’ve already left.

Everyone you meet should be greeted with a smile. It costs you nothing but it could be the last thing that person takes with them that day.

What people in your life need you to turn around and look at them? Whose life could you change and for that fact, maybe your own at the same time.....if you just turn around?
